Gwadar, July 15, Assistant Commissioner Mir Javed Ahmed Zehri visited the Imam Bargah in Gwadar to review the preparations for the religious rituals of the Shia community during the holy month of Muharram.
On the special instructions of Deputy Commissioner Hamoodur Rehman, the Assistant Commissioner met with the administrators of the Imam Bargah, Syed Aun, and renowned religious scholar Allama from Karachi. He thoroughly reviewed the arrangements in the Imam Bargah and had a detailed discussion about security arrangements during Muharram.
The Assistant Commissioner assured the administrators that the district administration would provide all possible cooperation and security to ensure that the Shia community could observe their religious festival with peace and better arrangements.
He said that the security of Imam Bargahs is the top priority of the district administration during Muharram, and all resources would be utilized to provide the best security.
The purpose of this step is to ensure that the religious rituals of the Shia community are performed without fear and danger.
