ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER BHAG VISITS FLOOD-AFFECTED VILLAGE, OVERSEES RELIEF EFFORTS

Kachhi, August 6, 2024: On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Kachhi, Captain (Retd) Jameel Ahmed Baloch, Assistant Commissioner Bhag, Naveed Ahmed Baloch, made an emergency visit to the flood-affected village of Amirabad Pahor in Tehsil Bhag.

Accompanied by SHO Levies Thana Bhag Abdul Hafiz Abro, revenue staff, and other officials, the Assistant Commissioner inspected the damaged houses and reviewed the relief efforts. He stated that, as per the Deputy Commissioner’s orders, prompt actions are being taken to address the situation, including the use of heavy machinery for drainage in Amirabad Pahor and distribution of tents and other essential items to the affected households.

He added that, apart from draining water from the affected village, relief activities are also underway. The residents of the flood-affected Ghareeb Abad locality expressed gratitude to the district and tehsil administrations, as well as Chairman Municipal Committee Bhag, Maulana Mufti Kafaitullah, for their support and assistance.
