Sahiwal   Around Sahiwal Division the strike to protes against the sky-rocketing price-hike of petoleum products, daily-use commodities n Electricity bills, showed no sign of a unified protest by the traders n general public. Public transport plied n every work in private offices was being done normally. Medical stores, grocery shops remained open. According to a group of traders union, the failure of th strike was due to the seperate protest of Jamaat e Islami, whose leadership did’nt consulted with the traders bodies for a joint protest.
