ARMED FORCES REAFFIRM COMMITMENT TO KASHMIR CAUSE, NATIONAL SECURITY

Rawalpindi,(Independent Report)  August 5: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Ahmed Sharif reiterated the armed forces’ unwavering support for the Kashmir cause and commitment to national security during a press conference today.

The DG ISPR condemned India’s continued brutalities and human rights violations in Kashmir, emphasizing the armed forces’ resolve to support the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.

Major General Sharif also highlighted the armed forces’ extensive social contributions across the country, focusing on education, health, infrastructure, agriculture, and relief work, particularly in less developed areas.

The press conference also touched on internal security, with the DG ISPR noting significant successes in reducing violent incidents through ongoing kinetic operations against terrorism and extremism.

In addition, Major General Sharif exposed violent protests in Balochistan aimed at hindering development and reiterated the armed forces’ clear and consistent stance on regional and global issues, including the May 9 incident.

The DG ISPR’s press conference reaffirmed the armed forces’ commitment to national security, social development, and regional stability, while also highlighting Pakistan’s desire for peace and cooperation.
