In a major intelligence-based operation, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized a large quantity of drugs worth millions of dollars in Pasni, a coastal town in Balochistan. The operation, codenamed “Operation Mekran Coastal Line”, was carried out in the Chor Bander area, adjacent to the Mekran Coastal Line.
According to ANF officials, the drugs were meant to be smuggled to international markets via sea routes. The seized drugs include 850 kg of hashish and 164 kg of ice, as well as 51,000 narcotics capsules. The total weight of the seized drugs is over one ton.
The operation was launched based on intelligence information about the activities of a drug smuggling group led by Liyakat Baloch and Wahid Baloch. The group is known to be involved in smuggling drugs to foreign countries via sea routes. The ANF team conducted a raid on a secret location in the area and recovered the drugs.
The ANF has launched a manhunt for the arrest of Liyakat Baloch and Wahid Baloch, the leaders of the drug smuggling group. The force is committed to establishing a drug-free society and continues to actively pursue drug traffickers and smugglers.
