In a series of operations, the ANF has seized a significant quantity of narcotics and arrested five individuals. The seizures include:
– 3.6 kg of ice recovered from a passenger at Islamabad Airport
– 900 gm of heroin-filled capsules recovered from a passenger at Sialkot Airport
– 254 gm of heroin and 200 gm of churs recovered from a passenger at Islamabad Airport
– 300 gm of churs recovered from a parcel at Lahore Airport
– 146 kg of churs(hashish) and 69 kg of opium recovered from a vehicle near the Nankana Sahib Motorway Toll Plaza
– 15 kg of churs(hashish) and 800 gm of ice recovered from a parcel in Quetta
– 5 kg of churs(hashish) recovered from two individuals in Multan
Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are underway.”
