Asghar Khan Achakzai, Provincial President of the Awami National Party (ANP), has strongly condemned the violence against peaceful protests in Pashtun-Baloch regions, terming it “unacceptable”. He expressed deep concern over the ongoing unrest, lawlessness, and human rights violations in the region.

Achakzai stated that the Pashtun-Baloch nations are being deprived of their right to peaceful protest, and the dignity of the people is being severely injured. He warned that the consequences of such actions would be severe and the responsibility would lie with the state and ruling elite.

He made these remarks while addressing the ANP’s provincial cabinet meeting at Arbab House. The meeting discussed the country’s political situation, particularly the Pashtun-Baloch regions.

ANP to Observe August Martyrs’ Day with National Responsibility

Achakzai also announced that the ANP would observe August Martyrs’ Day with national responsibility, as in previous years.
