*ANF PAKISTAN CELEBRATED INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE & ILLICIT TRAFFICKING WITH ZEAL WHILE GARNERING PUBLIC SUPPORT*

On 26 June 2023, ANF Pakistan celebrated International Day against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking by arranging multiple activities in Federal & Provincial Capitals and various other cities throughout the country. The activities aimed towards public awareness against menace of drugs by inducing spirit of involvement among the citizenry.
To increase the scope and spread of message against drugs a series of events, ensuring involvement of all segments of society were organized throughout the month of June. The Events included Seminars, Awareness Talks/ Lectures, Walks and Rallies. 26th June being the International Day against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking was seen as the climax of awareness campaign.
The major event of the day was an Awareness Walk at F-9 Park, Islamabad. The walk was attended by all segments of society especially the youth. Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti was Chief Guest of the event. The honourable Minister reiterated the national resolve to make Pakistan Drug Free.
Similar events were organized in all provincial capitals, which were attended enthusiastically by all segments of society. Additionally a vintage car rally was organized in Karachi by ANF RD Sindh. The event was keenly attended by a large number of people who exhibited commitment towards societal response against menace of drugs.
