The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a nationwide crackdown on drug smuggling in educational institutions and various cities across the country. During three operations, the ANF arrested three suspects and seized over 209.800 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs. 16 million.
In one operation, the ANF recovered 4 kilograms of hashish from a suspect in Karachi’s Lyari Basti area. The arrested suspects confessed to selling narcotics to students in educational institutions.
In other operations, the ANF seized 200 kilograms of bhang hidden in a car near Sahianwala Interchange in Faisalabad, and 4.800 kilograms of opium and 1 kilogram of ice from a suspect near Shahin Chowk in Gujrat. The suspects have been arrested, and cases have been registered against them under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
