ANF CRACKS DOWN ON DRUG TRAFFICKING, RECOVERS 61KG OF NARCOTICS WORTH 9 MILLION RUPEES

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a crackdown on drug trafficking, resulting in the seizure of 61 kilograms of narcotics worth 9 million rupees and the arrest of 6 suspects.

The ANF conducted 6 operations in various cities, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, and Quetta, and recovered:

– 14.4 kg of opium and 45.6 kg of hashish from a suspect on M1 Motorway, Islamabad
– 700 grams of ice from a suspect on GT Road, Rawalpindi
– 700 grams of hashish from 2 suspects near a university in Karachi
– 320 grams of hashish, 210 grams of ice, and 200 intoxicating tablets from 2 suspects in Quetta

Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are underway.
