ANF Cracks Down on Drug Peddling, Smuggling Around Educational Institutions

Islamabad, Oct. 16: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) continues its nationwide crackdown on drug peddling and smuggling, particularly around educational institutions.
In 9 operations, ANF arrested 11 suspects and seized:212.74 kg of narcotics worth over Rs. 1.5 crore
Key seizures:- 141.6 kg of charas near a university in Shikarpur, Sukkur 100 grams of charas and 35 ecstasy pills near a university in Islamabad 42 kg of charas in 3 parcels at Sukkur’s courier office- 2.450 kg of ice at Lahore Airport from Dubai-bound passengers- 28 ice-filled capsules from a Saudi Arabia-bound passenger at Lahore Airport
20.400 kg of ice near Noor Mosque in Kasur- 5 kg of opium from two suspects in Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore
Suspects confessed to selling drugs to students. ANF prioritizes making educational institutions drug-free.
ANF’s efforts aim to protect youth from the menace of drugs and ensure a safe learning environment.
