The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a nationwide crackdown on drug peddling and smuggling near educational institutions, arresting 13 suspects and seizing over 37.183 kilograms of narcotics worth Rs. 6.8 million in the last 24 hours.
– _Hyderabad_: 4 kg of charas recovered from a suspect near a university.
– _Multan_: 500 grams of ice seized from a suspect near a university on Old Shujaabad Road.
– _Faisalabad_: 667 grams of opium and 1.128 kg of charas recovered from a suspect near a university.
– _Pindi Road Kohat_: 310 grams of charas seized from a suspect near a college.
– _Khanpur Expressway Islamabad_: 150 ecstasy pills recovered from an Afghan national.
– _Azam Basti Qiumabad Karachi_: 600 grams of charas seized from two suspects.
The arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students at educational institutions ¹. The ANF’s crackdown is part of its efforts to curb the spread of narcotics in educational institutions and ensure a safe environment for students.
This operation is a significant step towards protecting Pakistan’s youth from the dangers of drug addiction. The ANF remains committed to eliminating the scourge of narcotics from the country.
