ANF Continues Crackdown on Drug Trafficking: 9kg of Narcotics Worth Rs. 5.1 Million Seized, 5 Arrested”

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has continued its operations against drug trafficking, resulting in the seizure of over 9 kilograms of narcotics worth approximately Rs. 5.1 million in the past 24 hours. Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the seizures.
The ANF conducted raids near educational institutions, including a major university in Islamabad, where 960 grams of ice were recovered from a suspect. In Peshawar, 390 grams of charas and 20 grams of ice were seized near a university. In Quetta, 1.2 kilograms of charas, 300 grams of ice, and 35 ecstasy tablets were recovered from two suspects near an educational institution. The arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students.
In other operations, 980 grams of charas were seized from a suspect near the Islamabad Motorway Toll Plaza, and 5 kilograms of hidden opium were recovered from the Hub Bypass. Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are underway.
