ANF Continues Crackdown on Drug Smuggling, Recovers Over 74kg of Narcotics

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has continued its crackdown on drug smuggling, recovering over 74kg of narcotics in 11 operations across the country. Ten suspects have been arrested in connection with the cases.

_Details of the Operations_

– 3kg of ice recovered from a passenger at Islamabad Airport, who was traveling to Jeddah
– 24kg of charas recovered from a suspect near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza, Attock
– 12kg of charas recovered from a suspect in Jinnah Town, Karachi
– 9.6kg of charas recovered from a suspect in Khanewal
– 6kg of opium and 2kg of charas recovered from a woman on M-1, Islamabad
– 4.8kg of charas recovered from a car on River Road, Karachi, and the suspect arrested
– 4.8kg of charas recovered from two suspects near Sangjani Toll Plaza, Islamabad
– 2.4kg of charas and 450g of ice recovered from Link Road, Karachi
– 3kg of ice recovered from a suspect near Peshawar’s Pushkhara Chowk
– 2kg of charas recovered from a suspect near Ayub National Park, Rawalpindi
– 800g of ice recovered from University Road, Peshawar

_Cases Registered Against Arrested Suspects_

Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations have been initiated.
