ANF Continues Crackdown on Drug Smuggling Near Educational Institutions

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a nationwide operation to combat drug smuggling near educational institutions and in various cities across Pakistan. The operation has resulted in the arrest of 9 suspects and the seizure of over 63.151 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs. 1 crore.
Operations Near Educational Institutions:*- 3.600 kilograms of charas were recovered from a car near Koh-e-Noor Mills in Rawalpindi, and the suspect was arrested.
– 3 kilograms of charas were seized from a suspect near Fateh Chowk in Hyderabad.
– 2.400 kilograms of charas were recovered from a suspect near Pir Wadhai Road in Rawalpindi.
– 900 grams of charas were seized from a suspect near a college on Expressway in Islamabad.
– 51 grams of weed were recovered from two suspects near a university in Bahria Town, Islamabad.
The arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students at educational institutions.
Other Operations:*
1.200 kilograms of ice were seized from a suspect near Haji Camp in Peshawar.
10 kilograms of charas were recovered from two suspects on Sariab Road in Quetta.
32 kilograms of charas were seized from a hidden location near the Coastal Highway in Gwadar.
5 kilograms of heroin and 5 kilograms of ice were recovered from a warehouse near D-Block Chowk in Gwadar.
The ANF has registered cases against the arrested suspects and is further investigating the matter.
