ANF Continues Crackdown on Drug Smuggling

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested three suspects and seized over 40.74 kg of narcotics worth more than Rs. 1 crore in four separate operations across the country.

Operations in Educational Institutions
Islamabad: 1.2 kg of charas was recovered near a university on Park Road.
Multan: 676 intoxicating pills were seized near a university; the arrested suspect confessed to selling drugs to students.
Other ANF Operations
Karachi Airport: 34.390 kg of ice was found hidden in men’s briefs in a parcel bound for Australia.
Diskha Market, Gujranwala Road: 4.8 kg of charas was recovered from a suspect.
Investigation and Prosecution
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
Investigations are underway.
