An empowered commission needed to be formed on issue of missing persons, emphasizes CJ BHC

QUETTA: The Chief Justice Balochistan High Court, Mr. Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar has emphasized that the issue of missing persons is a serious issue and as such there is a need to form an empowered commission to address it.
Mr. Justice Muhammad Hashim Kakar was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Judicial Complex in Surab on Saturday.
The CJ said that delay in development projects as well as violation of merit and sale and purchase of the vacancies wouldn’t be tolerated.
He said that this land is like mother for us and no compromise would be made on its sanctity and dignity at all.
He announced that the doors of judiciary are open for everyone without any discrimination.
He said that he believes in distribution of powers and all judges of the High Court should consider them completely empowered.
He also said that we are determined to provide Justice to the masses in remote areas of the province.
He declared Sorab as session.
Earlier, the Chief Justice was received by the Commissioner Kalat, Ali Akbar Baloch upon his arrival along with fellow judges and other staff.
The smartly turned out contingent of police presented guard of honour to the Chief Justice.
He formally inaugurated the new building of Judicial complex Surab.
Also accompanied with the CJ were the judges of High Court including Mr Justice Muhammad Ejaz Swati, Mr Justice Muhammad Kamran Musakhail, Mr Justice Nazeer Ahmed Langove, Mr Justice Muhammad Aamir Nawaz Rana, Mr Justice Rizvi Khan Baraich, Mr Justice Iqbal Kasi, Mr Justice Sardar Ahmed Halimi, besides Advocate General Asif Reki.
