Pakistan’s new Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has officially assumed his diplomatic duties in Washington D.C. Ambassador Sheikh spent a busy day at the Embassy, meeting with heads of various departments and officials. He received a detailed briefing on their respective areas of responsibility.
Ambassador Sheikh also met with the heads of Pakistan’s four Consulates in the US via Zoom, discussing various matters.
He has prioritized the promotion of multi-faceted Pak-US relations, improvement of economic and people-to-people ties, and service to the Pakistani community. He has directed all officials to utilize their energies for result-oriented diplomacy.
