All set to hold bye-election on  PB-8, Sibi cum Lehri today

QUETTA: All is set to hold bye-election on the provincial assembly’s constituency, PB-8, Sibi cum Lehri today (Sunday).

According to Returning Officer of the PB-8, over 116,000 voters would use their right of franchise in the bye-election of PB-8.

For the bye-election, a total of 124 polling stations have been set up in the constituency.

Of these, 57 polling stations have been declared as sensitive.

The deployment of police, Levies and Frontier Corps has been made at the polling stations besides other sensitive places in the constituency.

It may be mentioned here that tough competition is likely between the Pakistan People Party (PPP)’s Sardar Kohyar Domki and independent candidate, Mir Asghar Khan Marri.

The seat of PB-8 had fallen vacant due to the death of MPA Sardar Sarfraz Chakar Domki.
