All protestors dispersed; normalcy returns in Gwadar

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mir Ziaullah Langove has categorically stated that we are ready for talks according to the constitution of Pakistan, however, can’t put the national security at stake on anyone’s blackmailing.
He also made it clear that we can’t let anyone to challenge writ of the state and harm government properties under the garb of protests.
The Minister Home was presiding over crucial meeting on law and order situation and other related matters in Gwadar on Monday.
The Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, Hamoodur Rehman, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Makran, Dr Farhan Zahid and other concerned high ups were in attendance.
The meeting was briefed about overall situation of Gwadar. It was informed that some elements want to sabotage the peace by taking law in their hands. Action was taken against those took law in their hands and some 20 were arrested, it was informed further.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister Home said that all the protestors were dispersed in Gwadar and situation has turned normal there.
He said that all concerned law enforcement agencies deserve appreciation on controlling situation in Gwadar.
He said that some miscreants wanted to spoil law and order situation in Gwadar, however, they faced complete failure in it.
He said that the women are held in high esteem and given respect and value according to the traditions of Balochistan. However, the women are requested to demonstrate respect during the protests too.
He also called for demonstrating behaviour with the security forces keeping in view the province’s traditions.
