All Pakistan Librarians visit Pastic.

Islamabad: NCRD (National Center for Rural Development) A week-long training program (May 6 to May 10) was conducted for librarians in the NCRD library of Islamabad, titled Modern Library Services in Digital Environment. Various senior librarians, researchers and students from all over Pakistan participated.
Syed Habib Jafari (Principal Librarian) invited all the participants to Pastic Library Islamabad keeping his previous traditions. About 45 library professionals visited Pakistan Scientific and Technological Center Islamabad. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Shaikh, DG Pastic welcomed to all the participants wholeheartedly and engaged library professionals on a variety of topics, including the role of librarians in today’s digital environment. DG Pastic listened carefully, the problems faced by the library professionals in the digital environment and proposed their solutions to the extent possible, made aware about the digital resources available in the library and also allowed the libraries to take advantage from library recourses. online cloud library service was also introduced.
