AJK PM CHAUDHRY ANWAR-UL-HAQ TERMS INDIA’S INDEPENDENCE DAY AS ‘BLACK DAY’

(Independent AJK Desk) .
Muzaffarabad, August 15, 2024: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq has said that Kashmiris have proved by observing India’s Independence Day as ‘Black Day’ that they reject India’s illegal occupation of occupied Kashmir.

In a special statement, he said that Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Kashmiris living around the world staged protests and made the world believe that India has illegally occupied Kashmir, and its 1.5 million army is involved in serious human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. He added that through its unilateral actions on August 5, 2019, India wants to change the demographics of occupied Kashmir by issuing domicile certificates to hundreds of thousands of non-state subjects, thereby trying to turn the Kashmiri people into a minority in their own region.

He said that Pakistan is our only advocate that stands with the Kashmiri people in their freedom struggle and continues to provide political, moral, and diplomatic support. He also said that India is continuously violating UN resolutions.
