Advisor to CM Balochistan for Women Development department, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi designated as chairperson Women empowerment comitee

In a significant step towards advancing women’s rights and empowerment in Balochistan, Advisor to CM Balochistan, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the newly constituted Women Empowerment Committee. The committee aims to address various critical issues affecting women across the province.
The Women Empowerment Committee will undertake a comprehensive review of several key areas including the recruitment of women under the government’s quota in departments, ensuring fair practices in fairs, licenses, festivals, and shops catering to women, enhancing the inclusion of female members in law and order committees, and the effective implementation of anti-harassment laws. Additionally, the committee will facilitate free issuance of NOCs for women’s functions in public parks, oversee land record and data corrections concerning women’s inheritance rights, and address other pertinent matters related to women’s rights.
Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, known for her unwavering commitment to social justice and gender equality, expressed her dedication to ensuring the committee’s efforts result in tangible improvements for women in Balochistan. “I am honored to lead this committee and look forward to collaborating with our esteemed members to enact meaningful change,” said Dr. Buledi.
The committee comprises esteemed members including Commissioner of Quetta Division, Ms. Pari Gul Tareen, Ms. Roshan Khursheed Barocha, Mr. Allaudin Khilji, and other distinguished individuals known for their advocacy and expertise in gender issues.
This initiative underscores the Government of Balochistan’s steadfast commitment to promoting gender equality and creating an inclusive environment where women can thrive. The Women Empowerment Committee is poised to make significant strides in advancing women’s rights and ensuring their active participation across all sectors of society.
