ACTIONS OF SFA TEAMS- RS. 2 LAC FINED ON BAKERY IN GULZAR-E-HIJRI. A FACTORY MANUFACTURING GHEE AND OIL FROM THE BONES OF DEAD ANIMALS WAS CAUGHT IN PUNO AQIL

Karachi .  . The team of Sindh Food Authority has acted on the instructions of Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain in Gulzar Hijri.

The team made a surprise inspection of Nafees Bakers & Sweets. During the inspection, the bakery was temporarily closed due to poor sanitation conditions.

According to  Sindh Food Authority team, the said bakery would remain closed until the sanitation situation is  improved.  Sindh Food Authority team also imposed a fine of two lakh rupees on the management of Nafees Bakers and Sweets.

Meanwhile Sindh Food Authority Sukkur team conducted a major operation in Pannu Aqil.

The operation was carried out against the makers of ghee and oil from the bones of dead animals. The operation was conducted under the direction of Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain. The team of Sindh Food Authority also disposed of the hazardous ghee and oil, contained in the drums in the factory which manufactured ghee and oil from the bones of dead animals. Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain has said that action is being taken against those who make ghee and oil from the bones of dead animals according to the law. ‘ Sindh Food Authority is taking action indiscriminately against those who are involved in selling sub-standard food items ‘. he concluded.
