ACTION AGAINST DRUG DEALERS SHOULD BE ACCELERATED: CCPO LAHORE

Lahore, October 10: Under the chairmanship of CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamayana, a review meeting on the performance of Iqbal Town and Sadar Divisions was held at the CCPO office, in which DIG (Operations) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG ( Investigation) Imran Kishwer, SSP Admin Atif Nazir, SSP (Operations) Ali Raza, SSP (Investigation) Anush Masood Chaudhry, SPs, DSPs, SHOs, In-charges (Investigation) of Iqbal Town and Sadar Division.  attended
In the meeting, a detailed review of the performance regarding the pending road certificates, cases under investigation, habitual criminals was done.  Addressing the meeting, Lahore Police Chief directed to dispose of all pending cases and road certificates as soon as possible. Strict crackdown was ordered against motorcycle thieves and mobile thieves.  CCPO Lahore reprimanded several SHOs and said that the number of incidents is high but recovery is low, it should be improved in any case. Bilal Siddique Kamayana directed to speed up action against drug dealers and said that departmental action will be taken against the officer who will not perform. He directed to assign important responsibilities to the officers with better performance while ordering the strictest crackdown against the beggar mafia and said that beggars should not be allowed to stand on squares and main roads.
Bilal Siddique Kamayana emphasized that it is our duty to protect the life and property of the citizens, so all the officers should perform their duties with integrity and zeal.
