Accuses Afghan Taliban of continuing double game with Pakistan: Jan Achakzai reiterates Pak’s demand to Afghanistan Govt to hand over terrorists involved in terror in Pak

QUETTA: The caretaker Provincial Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai has reiterated the Pakistan’s demand to government of Afghanistan to hand over the terrorists involved in terrorism in Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan has been demanding of the Afghan government to hand over the terrorists involved in terrorist acts in Pakistan, however, adding he regretfully pointed out, that it (Afghan Taliban) are continuing double game with Pakistan.
He said that government of Pakistan has put forth its demands in front of Afghan Taliban, and the state of Pakistan is ready to go to any extreme to get its demands accepted.
The Minister Information was addressing a hurriedly called press conference at the Quetta Press Club on Saturday.
Jan Achakzai said that the strict enforcement of the one regime document and passport is being made at the Pak-Afghanistan border, and now no Afghan would be entered in Pakistan’s territory without passport.
Referring the dharna being staged in Chaman, Jan Achakzai said that the anti-state elements have highjacked the protest sit-in in the border town.
He said that the state would crush those raising anti-state slogans in the protest dharna.
He also mentioned that CTD is taking wholehearted action to eliminate terrorists in the province. He asserted that the terrorists and their facilitators would not be spared at all.
He said that no state can allow terrorists’ attacks on the innocent citizens.
Jan Achakzai also made the pledge to cleanse Balochistan of illegal immigrants, smuggling and the illegal trade of hawala and hundi.
Referring the agreements of US$ 25 billion reached with UAE recently, the Minister said that these are included the investment in mineral sector of Balochistan.
He said that the investment is because of the endeavours made by the Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir.
He said that Balochistan would become second Singapore of this region for investment.
Referring the process of repatriation of illegal immigrants, the Minister Information said that around 1,40,000 immigrants have so far been repatriated to their homeland.
He mentioned that during last couple of days, some 2,000 illegal immigrants have been taken into custody and carried them to cross the border.
