Abdul Khaliq Achakzai resigns from BAP; to take part in elections in ind. capacity

QUETTA: The Provincial Vice President of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and former Provincial Minister Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai has tendered resignation from the party.
Addressing a workers convention in Chaman on Friday, Abdul Khaliq Achakzai said he has decided to resign from the party and position he held in the party.
He also announced to contest the elections in his independent capacity. Therefore, he is also going to launch his election campaign from now.
Abdul Khaliq Achakzai said that the people of Chaman should know their real representatives and not pay attention to the hollow slogans.
He said that he has never committed any negligence in serving the masses.
He also said that he considered public service as his duty and his past character is not hidden from anyone.
Haji Attaullah Khan Achakzai and others also addressed the public gathering.
