Hyderabad (PR) – A three-day badminton tournament was organized in Hyderabad by the Development and Empowerment Society (DES Pakistan) in collaboration with the Sindh Government’s Sports and Youth Affairs Department. In the final match, Shayan Khan emerged victorious and claimed the trophy. The tournament, held at the MCB Hall in Hyderabad, featured 28 players. The final was a tough contest between Shayan Khan and Zaheeb Ali, with Shayan securing the win and taking the trophy.
Trophies and prizes were also distributed among the participating players. The closing ceremony was graced by All Pakistan Badminton player Ishrat Mohiuddin Lodhi, Director of Sports at Public School Hyderabad, Rehan Sheikh, Regional Badminton player Syed Shafqat Shah, National Footballer Akhtar Baloch, and other distinguished guests.
Rehan Sheikh, Director of Sports at Public School Hyderabad, encouraged the players and commended the entire team of DES Pakistan for successfully organizing the event. He assured full support for future events, promising continued cooperation.
