A scheduled hearing was conducted today at the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat’s Regional Office in Sukkur to address complaints registered against the Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO). The hearing was chaired by the Regional Head, Syed Mehmood Ali Shah, and attended by SEPCO officials, including Mr. Muhammad Haris, SDO Site, Mr. Muhammad Umar, SDO Bunder Road, Mr. Muhammad Jan Bugti, SDO Suk-I, and Mr. Mushtaque Ahmed, SDO Suk-II. The primary grievances of complainants centered on issues of maladministration in SEPCO’s billing procedures. Through active discussions and interventions, the hearing successfully resolved these grievances, reaffirming the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat’s commitment to ensuring fair and effective customer service practices in the region.
