A protest was held in Landikotal’s Kotli Bazaar against inflation and unjust taxes, led by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam. The rally was attended by JUI leader Murad Hussain Afridi, Akhtar Ali Shinwari, and others, who condemned the government’s taxation policies and rising inflation. They demanded that the government provide relief to the public and traders.

The protesters criticized the government for imposing self-made taxes and IPDs, chanting slogans against them. They warned that if the government did not fulfill its promises, they would take to the streets across the country. JUI leaders emphasized that they are working for the people and urged the government to take concrete steps to provide relief.

The protesters chanted slogans, including “Trader-friendly scheme is unacceptable” and “Inflation is unacceptable”. The rally was part of a nationwide movement against inflation and unjust taxation. The protesters dispersed peacefully after submitting a memorandum to the local authorities, demanding immediate action to address their concerns.
