A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Rakhshan Division disconnection of all illegal tubewell connections

Nushki, July 12: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Rakhshan Division, Shah Arfan Gharsheen, on the directives of Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakil Ahmad Khan, regarding the solarization of agricultural tubewells and disconnection of all illegal tubewell connections. The meeting was attended by DIG Rakhshan Range, Deputy Commissioners of Chagai, Washuk, Khаран, Nushki, and representatives of the FC.

The meeting was informed that due to the special interest and efforts of the Honorable Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Safraz Bugti, the provincial government has announced, in collaboration with the federal government, to solarize all legal and registered agricultural tubewells and disconnect all illegal tubewell connections. Therefore, all Deputy Commissioners of Rakhshan Division should immediately start working with the Energy Department, K-Electric officials, relevant landowner associations, and law enforcement agencies to complete this task within the timeframe set by the government.

The Commissioner further informed the meeting that the Chief Secretary has given strict instructions that no excuse or negligence will be tolerated in this regard, and this matter should be given top priority.”
