A grand flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the DC Office premises in Lasbela

A grand flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the DC Office premises in Lasbela, the second-largest district of Balochistan, to mark the occasion of Independence Day. The ceremony was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Lasbela Saraj Ahmed, SSP Lasbela Naveed Alam, District Council Chairman Sardar Abdul Rashid Phorai, and other government officials and municipal representatives.

On the occasion of flag-hoisting, a guard of honor was presented by the police. Additional Deputy Commissioner Saraj Ahmed addressed the ceremony and said that August 14 is a day of renewal of pledge. Today, we all have to make a promise together that we will work day and night for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

He said that every nation is recognized by its identity, and our identity is the great sacrifices of our elders. Today is a day of renewal of pledge. He emphasized that a green and bright Pakistan is necessary for our survival.

The district administration organized ceremonies in all educational institutions of Lasbela’s sub-districts to mark Independence Day. Additionally, the district administration organized an Independence Day Sports Festival.
