“A funeral prayer was held at Peshawar Garrison for Captain Hussain Jehangir Shaheed (25 years old, from Rahim Yar Khan) and Havaldar Shafiqullah Shaheed (35 years old, from Karak), who embraced martyrdom during an intelligence-based operation in the Hasan Khel area of Peshawar district. The funeral was attended by the Corps Commander Peshawar, Pakistan Army officers, civil officials, citizens, and jawans. The martyrs’ bodies were sent to their native areas, where they will be laid to rest with full military honors. Pakistan’s armed forces are determined to eliminate terrorism alongside the nation.”
