On , a delegation from the Quetta Bar Association, led by Advocate Qari Rahmatullah Kakar, met with the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Safraz Bugti. The delegation briefed the Chief Minister on their issues, including the problem of parking in high courts and other courts, which the Chief Minister assured would be resolved on a priority basis. The Chief Minister also directed the Commissioner of Quetta to resolve the issue of rent for lawyers’ offices in the municipal plaza through mutual negotiation. Additionally, the Chief Minister announced plans to restore the old municipal T-house and convert it into a center for literary activities, where intellectuals, lawyers, journalists, and people from all walks of life can gather in a suitable environment. The Chief Minister also promised to review the annual grant for the Bar Association within available resources.
