A ceremony was held at NHMP Central Police Office Islamabad to honour the exemplary performance of the NHMP officers of Motorway North Kallar Kahar Beat and Mr. Muhmmad Riaz Cashier at rest area who showed extra ordinary conduct by facilitating NHMP officers to find a bag containing two million worth jewelry and cash. The officers, setting an example of honesty and taking timely action, found the missing bag of Mr. Nasim Usmani at the rest area, Motorway (M-2) North Kaler Kahar and handed it over to him. The bag contained jewellery worth Rs.06 lakh along with more than one million PKR, 716 Riyals, 101 US dollars and three bonds worth Rs.1500 and other valuable items. In this ceremony, Inspector General Salman Chaudhry awarded commendation certificates and cash reward to PO Allah Nawaz, JPO Tayyab Bilal, Lady APO Sabahat Hasan and rest area cashier Muhammad Riaz who showed an exemplary conduct. The ceremony was attended by Care-taker federal Minister for human rights, khalil george, MNA Mukhtar Ali Bharth, Mr. Nasim Usmani, who is the grandson of famous historic religious scholar Molana Shabbir Usmani along with his wife and senior officers of National Highways and Motorway Police. Federal Minister khalil george, MNA Mukhtar Ali Bharth, Mr. and Mrs Nasim Usmani thanked to IG, Salman Chaudhry and officers for their dedication and honesty in the line of duty. On this occasion, Inspector General Salman Chaudhry praised and said that such actions are example for others to follow. He urged that all the officers should perform their duties with the same spirit.
