Islamabad, August 8: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Immigration Wing has arrested four passengers at Islamabad Airport for attempting to travel to Saudi Arabia on Umrah visas with fake visas for Italy and Lithuania.
The accused, identified as Ashraf Minhas, Riyaz, Osama, and Abdullah, were traveling on flight ER801 when they were caught during a search. Initial investigation revealed that the accused were planning to travel to Italy from Saudi Arabia.
The accused hail from Gujrat and Mandi Bahauddin. They have been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad for further legal action. The investigation is ongoing.
The FIA spokesperson said that the agency is taking strict action against human traffickers and those attempting to travel on fake documents.
