_Balochistan Cabinet Establishes Committee to Review Universities Act and Recruitments

Quetta, July 8: The Balochistan Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mir Safraz Bugti, has established a special committee to review the Balochistan Universities Act and recruitments in the province’s universities. The committee, comprising provincial ministers and secretaries, will submit its recommendations within seven days, which will guide further actions. The Cabinet also approved the establishment of a green corporate partnership project to develop government-owned land in Balochistan.

Chief Minister Mir Safraz Bugti emphasized the importance of good governance and improving the service delivery system in the province. He expressed concern over the lack of funds for university salaries, despite ongoing recruitments and construction of new buildings. He stressed the need for merit-based decisions, overlooking personal interests and biases.
