Peshawar: Final approval of 11 members for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa caretaker cabinet has been given. According to the government official sources, consideration is being given to keeping the number of the cabinet up to 15. Among the names that have been approved, the portfolios of some have also been decided, but after the approval of all the members of the cabinet, the final decision will be taken to give ministries.The expected members of the caretaker cabinet met at the Chief Minister House on Thursday are Dr. Sarfraz Ali Shah, Engineer Anjum Behra War Khan, Principal Secretary to former Chief Minister Parveez khatak Muhammad Ashfaq, Justice (Retd) Irshad Qaisar, Dr. Riaz Anwar, Aamir Abdullah, Asif Rafiq Afridi, Engineer Amir Nadeem Durrani and Dr. Najeebullah met caretaker Chief Minister Azam Khan.This series of meetings continued from morning till 5 PM.Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry and Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Gandapur have met separately with the caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Azam Khan at the Chief Minister’s House.According to sources, the names of Provincial Information Minister Mian Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel and Syed Masood Shah have also been approved in the new supervisory cabinet.It has been proposed to keep the number of new caretaker cabinet up to 15 members which is being considered and it is possible that more names will be approved soon. According to the sources, the name of the former member of National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from Peshawar is also being considered, but his clearance has not been given yet.
