Peshawar: Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Khan paid a brief visit to Nowshera regarding peace, law and order situation during Muharram.On this occasion, Regional Police Officer Muhammad Sulaiman and District Police Officer Nasir Mehmood also accompanied with him. Nowshera Police squad presented salute .The Inspector General of Police inspected the command and control room.The Inspector General of Police visited the Imam Bargahs and procession passages of Nowshera Cantt and checked all the security arrangements.Received information about the security provided by District Police Officer Nasir Mehmood while giving a detailed briefing clarified that Nowshera Police is using all resources to maintain peace,law and order situation during Muharram.To avoid any unpleasant incident, the police officers and officials are performing their duty in a cheerful manner.He further said that the reserve team is always ready to deal with any untoward situation. The Inspector General of Police expressed satisfaction over the security measures taken by the Nowshera Police to maintain law and order situation during Muharram.
