Mayor Patrick Brown Vows Full Collaboration to Promote Pakistani Art
Karachi: Under the auspices of Crescent Art Gallery and in collaboration with Canada Pakistan Business Council (CPBC), an art exhibition and book launch titled “The World of Tassaduq Sohail” was organized in Brampton, Canada.
The event witnessed Mayor Patrick Brown as Chief Guest, Federal Secretary Nadeem Irshad Kiyani as Special Guest, Nasir Javed, Sameer Nasir, Sidra Nasir, MP Shafaqat Ali, and Secretary Sindh Government Nasim–ul-Ghani Sahito and other dignitaries.
Mayor Patrick Brown stated that Pakistani artists are highly talented and their art stands at an international standard. He further expressed his commitment to extend all possible cooperation for the promotion of art.
Nasir Javed, while addressing the gathering, expressed gratitude to the Canadian authorities for hosting a successful exhibition. He mentioned that Pakistani artists are tirelessly working to make their art known worldwide, and art shows are being continuously held in various countries, including Pakistan.
Organizer Sidra Naseer, in her address, highlighted that the objective of the art exhibition is to support street children. Sohail’s Masterpieces Collection is highly acclaimed worldwide for its artistic skills, which attracts art enthusiasts from across the globe. Pakistani and Canadian artists also showcased their impressive artistic creations.
Furthermore, as a special gesture, Mayor Patrick Brown was presented with a painting depicting Pakistani culture by Crescent Art Gallery, while Council member Rod Power awarded Naseer Javed a certificate of appreciation.
