QUETTA: The efforts are being made by the district administration and law enforcement agencies to normalize the otherwise tense situation in Wadh area of Khuzdar.
In this regard, the patrolling of security forces is continued constantly in the Wadh area and national highway. While on the other hand, two check posts set up privately on two sides of the national highway in Wadh have been removed.
The patrolling is being led by Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, Captain (Retd) Jamil Ahmed, DIG Police Khuzdar, Pervez Umrani, FC commandant, Colonel Hafiz Kashif and SSP Khuzdar Fahad Khosa.
According to an official hand out issued here, it is an endeavour of the administration to normalize the situation. The efforts are also being made to stop the two-side firing and improve law and order in the area.
On the other hand, the contacts are also being made with both the groups to resolve the issue.
In the meantime, two private check posts set up by the tribal groups on the highway have been removed and the check posts of Balochistan constabulary and Levies are being set up there.
Meanwhile, an emergency has also been declared in the Wadh hospital with the directives to all doctors and health staff to remain on their duties.
