302 pilgrims reach Quetta as
PIA’s Hajj flight operation
starts from Saudi Arabi

QUETTA: The post Hajj flight operation of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) commenced from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Quetta on Sunday.
On start of the Hajj operation, two flights of the national flag carrier airlines were landed at the Quetta International Airport on Sunday morning.
In all 302 (151 each) pilgrims were brought to Quetta from the holy land by the two flights. The Airport Manager, Malik Mazhar Hussain, District Manager PIA, Abdul Ghaffar Khan Miankhail along with other PIA and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) welcomed the pilgrims reaching Quetta by first two flights.
Moreover, a large number of relatives of the pilgrims were also present at the passenger lounge and outside the premises of airport building to receive their dear ones reached Quetta after performing the Hajj pilgrimage.
Mr. Miakhail informed on the occasion that while 302 pilgrims were brought to Quetta from the holy land on Sunday by two Hajj flights, the operation would remain continued till June 30, 2023.
Around 8,000 pilgrims would be brought by 47 flights to Quetta from the holy land, the District Manager told further.
He said that special arrangements have been made to board and transport pilgrims from the Saudi Arabia to Quetta by PIA.
