Wadh tribal conflict echoed in
Balochistan Assembly’s
budget session

QUETTA: The lingering tribal conflict was echoed in the budget session of Balochistan Assembly when members of the assembly from opposition and treasury benches spoke about it on Thursday.
The budget session was resumed after gap of two days with Speaker Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali in the chair.
Soon after start of the session, the BNP Member of assembly, Akbar Mengal pointed out on a point of order that law and order situation is critical in Wadh. He alleged that some elements in Wadh are enjoying the government’s patronage.
Akbar Mengal further charged that we are not being provided security, but others are provided the same.
He on the occasion demanded of the house to take notice of making private militia in Wadh.
Speaking on the point or order, the Provincial Minister for Communications, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran said that three is tension between two tribes in Khuzdar., which is a conspiracy to spoil the otherwise law and order in the province.
Sardar Khetran mentioned that the Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Ziaullah Langove, Inspector General of Frontier Corps and Inspector General of Police are in Wadh to resolve the issues.
He also said that the present government honurs all the towering personalities and considers its duty to protect each and every person.
It may be mentioned here that Miir Ziaullah Langove had reached Wadh on Thursday morning to speak to BNP chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal and other concerned over the tribal issues there.
