QUETTA: The Quetta district administration has launched crackdown against the professional beggars here in the metropolis on Thursday.
During the crackdown, over 20 beggars were apprehended and handed over to the officials of Social Welfare Department.
The beggars were captured during crackdown on Prince road, Manan chowk, Toghi road, railway station, and other areas.
The Assistant Commissioner Quetta city, Attaul Mynim and Special Magistrate, Maria Shamoon supervised the crackdown against the beggars on special directives of the Deputy Commissioner, Shaihak Baloch.
