QUETTA: The day of mourning was observed in Quetta and other areas of Balochistan on Monday, on the tragic incident of boat capsize in Greece.
The national flag flied at half-mast at all the important government buildings including the Balochistan Assembly, Governor House, Chief Minister House and secretariat, High Court and other ones.
Meanwhile, a praying ceremony was held for the deceased persons at the headquarters of Balochistan Boy Scouts Association.
The acting Provincial Scouts Commissioner, Amanullah Kanrani and other staff and volunteers participated. They offered fateha for those died in the tragic incident.
It may be mentioned here that the provincial government had announced to observe day of mourning on the tragic incident of boat capsize which carried several Pakistanis in the ocean of Greece couple of days back.
