BA’s budget session
to be held today

QUETTA: The budget session of Balochistan Assembly is scheduled to be held at 04:00 PM today (Monday) here.
As per the agenda, the budget for the financial year 2023-24 would be presented in session of the provincial assembly.
The Provincial Minister for Finance, Engineer Zamarak Khan Achakzai would table the budget in the today’s session.
According to an official notification issued here by the Secretary Balochistan Assembly, the Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar had summoned the budget session.
It may be mentioned here that the budget session of the provincial assembly was summoned on June 16, earlier.
However, it was rescheduled for today, 19th June by the Governor Balochistan, just because the budget could not be finalized till then.
The Finance Department had sought additional time to get the budget documents prepared and finalized, the sources informed.
