QUETTA: The Advisor to Chief Minister for Information, Mitkha Khan Kakar has stated that the land revenue record is being made digital all over the province, and in this regard, facilitation centers are also being opened to facilitate the masses about the related issues.
Mitha Khan Kakar was addressing a press conference at the Chief Minister’s Secretariate on Friday afternoon.
The spokesperson to Government of Balochistan, Ms. Farah Azeem Shah was also accompanied with the Advisor for Information.
Mr. Kakar maintained that the land revenue management system has been introduced as per the vision of Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.
He said that it is vision of the Chief Minister to provide digital facilities to the general public at the facilitation centers to be set up in all districts of the province.
He mentioned that the registries and land settlement record would be computerized on instructions of the Chief Minister.
The digitalization of land revenue record would contribute in economic development of the province, he believed.
He said that at least 3,000 youngsters would be provided scholarships by the Google under an agreement with the government. He mentioned that primarily, the number of scholarships where were to be awarded to youth were just 1,000, but on insistence of the Chief Minister, the number of scholarships were increased to 3,000.
