Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram participated as a special guest in the seminar organized by the Shanawar Literary Society at Fatima Jinnah Medical University. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Prof Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, Principal Fatima Jinnah Medical College Prof Dr Noreen Akmal, Prof. Bilqis Shabbir, Wasif Nagi, Prof. Kamran Khalid, Prof. Munaza Khalid and a large number of female students also participated.
In his address to the participants of the event, the caretaker provincial health minister Dr. Javed Akram said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) always gave preference to daughters. Daughters will hold the finger of their parents and take them to heaven. Daughters are the priceless blessing of Allah. Fatima Jinnah Medical University as a women’s institution is not our weakness but our power. Women are playing a fundamental role for the development of Pakistan. Unfortunately, Pakistan will become the third largest country in the world in terms of population in the next twenty years. A doctor is an all-rounder. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr Khalid Masood Gondal, Fatima Jinnah Medical University is providing excellent educational facilities to girls. Dr. Javed Akram said, “I want to see a doctor or nurse as the vice chancellor of a university.” Our girls have to face many difficulties to achieve success in life. May Allah give us the opportunity to make Pakistan the Pakistan of Allama Iqbal in the true sense. A beautiful Kashmir Auditorium will be made and a magnificent and state-of-the-art mall will also be built in this university. Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Professor Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal said that according to the vision of the caretaker provincial health minister Dr. Javed Akram, Fatima Jinnah Medical University will soon get QS ranking. At the end of the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Professor Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal presented a commemorative shield to the caretaker Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram.
