QUETTA: A 13-member high-powered committee has been formed to resolve the financial and other related issues of Balochistan on Friday.
According to an official handout issued here on Friday, the committee would be headed by the Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani.
The initiative has been taken by the Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif after taking the issues by the Chief minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.
The committee comprised: Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, senator Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, Federal Minister Finance, Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister Law & Justice, Federal Minister Planning and Development, Federal Minister for Science & Technology.
Moreover, the directives have been issued to the Ministry of Petroleum for the release of areas against PPL.
In addition to this, the committee would review the matter of Sui gas mining lease with the concerned and would settle the matter.
The committee would also submit its recommendations to the government within 15 days.
