The Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mir Ziaullah Langau has stated that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project would not only pave the way for development and prosperity in Pakistan but also in the whole region.

 

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mir Ziaullah Langau has stated that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project would not only pave the way for development and prosperity in Pakistan but also in the whole region.
He said that the importance of CPEC has been increased manifold due to peace and reconstruction in the region.
The Provincial Minister was speaking to the Chinese Consul General based in Karachi on Sunday.
Mir Ziaullah Langau discussed with the Chinese diplomat about the matters related to the China-Pakistan friendship and CPEC besides other matters of mutual interests.
He said that the increasing cooperation between China and Pakistan reflects the strong relations between the two countries.
He mentioned that several projects have been completed under the CPEC while others are in the pipeline.
He said that these projects would be increased further in view of the future requirements. Referring the development of energy, road, rail infrastructure, industrial zones, technology and tourism sectors under the CPEC, the Provincial Minister said that the business activities would be boosted with completion of the projects in the country.
He also said that we would benefit from the Chinese experiences for development in different sectors.
Meanwhile, the Minister also thanked the Chinese government for donating 9,000 food packages for the flood affected people of Balochistan.
